The client company specializes in comprehensive solutions for ensuring information security. It offers a wide range of services, including cyber threat monitoring, security audits, cybersecurity training, and OSINT investigations. Its team consists of highly skilled analysts, security engineers, and IT experts who leverage advanced technologies to protect their clients from threats.
A key request to the specialists at Sky Business Group was the development of an AI-powered service for conducting OSINT investigations.

Project Objectives

OSINT (open source intelligence) investigations utilize open information sources to collect, analyze, and interpret data. The project aimed to develop an innovative AI (artificial intelligence) service to automate information processing, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making speed in cybersecurity, business intelligence, and risk management.
To achieve these goals, we developed mechanisms for automatic data collection from diverse open sources, including social media, forums, news sites, registries, and other online platforms. AI integration was implemented for processing and analyzing large volumes of collected data using machine learning methods to detect patterns, analyze sentiments, and identify potential threats and opportunities.

User-friendly tools for data visualization — dashboards, graphs, charts, and interactive maps — were designed to complement the overall service interface. The integration of AI methods facilitated automation in generating reports, analyzing gathered data, and providing actionable recommendations.

Special attention was given to the security and confidentiality of the data collected and processed by the service to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.

Implementation Process

The implementation of the AI-powered OSINT service required precise organization and a phased approach. The project consisted of several key stages:

  1. Planning and Research. This stage outlined the core functional requirements of the service, technical specifications, and the necessary deliverables. Research was conducted to evaluate technologies that could be integrated during development, along with selecting the platforms and tools needed for the project.
  2. Service Development. Work focused on integrating AI into the OSINT service, including implementing APIs and web scraping to gather information from open sources. Additionally, machine learning played a crucial role in ensuring high-quality analysis. This stage also involved developing algorithms for pattern detection, threat identification, and more.
  3. Testing and Deployment. Performance, functionality, and security tests were conducted to fine-tune the service and integrate it with existing systems.
